The Farry Group of Companies was founded
in Dunedin in 1889 by Gabriel Farry.
Farrys Motel Ltd was
established in 1962 in High Street Dunedin, by the late Saba
Gabriel Farry – the founder of the modern Farry Group of
Companies.
The current premises in George Street, Dunedin were
established in 1972. Substantial upgrades have been
undertaken over the years in keeping with modern trends and
technology.
The present hosts of the Motel/Apartment complex are Gerry
and Sandra Sutherland who began their association with the
company in 1999.
The Farry Group is involved in tourism, hospitality, food
and beverage, fine art, music production and property
investment and development.
